There have been over 100 potential adoption situations that have come through the platform looking for Black or interracial hopeful parents! That has been with word of mouth and some cold emailing. Imagine what we can do with a real marketing budget and press coverage.

I am both blown away and grateful for all of the support thus far and can’t wait to see what we accomplish next year.

Duffle Bag Drive

We’re partnering with another Texas adoption organization to collect duffle bags, toiletry bags, and other items for kids in foster care. Most of them don’t have luggage and have to carry their belongings in garbage bags when moving homes. Sometimes they have to go to school with these bags because they’ll be placed in a new home later that day. Other items purchased like coloring books, stickers, scrunchies…etc will be added to bags.

    I ran across this platform on Facebook last year. I had just started my adoption journey and didn’t really know where to start. I signed up for Noire and identified an adoption situation. I applied for the situation and within a few days I received a call back that I was selected by the birth mother. I was shocked because I was advised by being single and looking to adopt a newborn could take years! I was matched in September and my son was born in January. The process went smoothly! Jourdan reached out and checked on me throughout the process of placement and even after my son was born. I am forever grateful for Noire providing a platform for African American adoptions! This platform provides authentic support from not Jourdan but the members as well!
